Rodie X12 is a professional wash light built for color and tunable white. Its calibrated six-color engine combines red, green, blue, amber, cyan, and lime. Twelve LEDs sit behind a fixed 25° wash in an IP65-rated, die-cast aluminum housing.

Amber, cyan, and lime add to the RGB mix. That gives you more options for saturated colors, pastels, and the subtle in-between shades clients ask for. See how those looks land on people, fabrics, and scenery, then review the measurements behind the demonstration.

The same engine produces white light from 1,800K to 10,000K, with CRI up to 98 at selected color temperatures. Tune it warmer or cooler from your console. When white-light quality matters, review the results at the settings you plan to use, and evaluate the fixture in your own setup.

The 10 lb housing uses passive cooling, with no fans. Quick-release omega brackets, an M10 yoke hole, and a rear safety loop make rigging simple. Locking IP65 Power and 5-pin DMX/RDM, both Input and Through, support everyday production use. NFC/app and timer functionality add more ways to set up and run the fixture. Built for production, rental, venues, and projects, Rodie X12 brings color and white light into one fixture.

What is the Rodie X12?

The Rodie X12 is a calibrated six-color IP65 wash light from Rasha Professional. It combines RGBACL color mixing with tunable white from 1,800K to 10,000K, a fixed 25° wash, passive cooling, and DMX/RDM control. It is built for production, rental, venues, and projects.

Each of the 12 LEDs carries six colors: red, green, blue, amber, cyan, and lime (RGBACL). Amber, cyan, and lime add to the RGB mix. That gives you more options for saturated colors, pastels, and subtle in-between shades.

The Rodie X12 produces white light from 1,800K to 10,000K. All six colors build the white, and you can tune it warmer or cooler from your console.

The Rodie X12 reaches CRI up to 98 at selected color temperatures. Color quality varies with the setting you choose. Request the CRI and TM-30 report to see results by CCT, with test conditions.

The Rodie X12 has a fixed 25° wash. It works from truss, floor, and side positions. Test the throw distance and layout for your space before choosing quantities.

Yes. The IP65 housing supports outdoor productions and semi-permanent rental runs, where fixtures are installed for a period and then taken down. Make all power and data connections in dry conditions. The Rodie X12 is not designed for permanent architectural installation.

No. The Rodie X12 uses passive cooling through its die-cast aluminum housing. There are no fans to clog or fail.

The Rodie X12 supports DMX and RDM through 5-pin XLR, Input and Through. A four-button OLED menu with a 180° reversible display handles onboard setup. NFC/app and timer functionality add more options. Request the control guide for supported functions and compatibility.

The Rodie X12 has two quarter-turn omega slots with 108 mm spacing, an M10 clamp hole in the yoke arm, and a rear safety cable loop. An omega mounting bracket is included.

The Rodie X12 uses locking IP65 Power, Input and Through. It runs on 110 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, auto-ranging. Power through capacity is 13A at 120V or 10A at 240V.

Each Rodie X12 ships with the fixture, an IP65 locking power cable, an omega mounting bracket, and the user manual.

What makes the Rodie X12 different from a standard RGB wash?

A standard RGB engine mixes from three colors. The Rodie X12 adds amber, cyan, and lime to that core, and calibrates all six. More colors at the source means more ways to build a shade.

That matters when a design calls for the harder looks. Soft pastels. Warm ambers that stay rich. Subtle transitions between scenes. Cyans and limes that RGB struggles to reach.

Six colors in every LED

Each of the 12 LEDs carries red, green, blue, amber, cyan, and lime. Every LED can mix the full palette, so color stays even across the wash. See the fixture on fabrics, scenery, and people, not only pointed at a camera.

How good is the white light from the Rodie X12?

The same six-color engine builds white from 1,800K to 10,000K. Go from warm candlelight tones to cool daylight looks from your console, with no separate white engine.

The Rodie X12 reaches CRI up to 98 at selected color temperatures. Color quality changes with the setting you choose, so the headline value does not describe every CCT. Ask for the CRI and TM-30 results at the settings you plan to use. TM-30 gives a fuller picture of color rendition than CRI alone. The U.S. Department of Energy explains how TM-30 works.

Can I see the measurements behind the light?

Yes. Our proof content pairs each scene with the fixture setting, the camera setup, and the meter reading. You see what the light does and how it was measured.

Watch the available test footage on our product videos page. Then request the current CRI, TM-30, and photometric reports. Review the test conditions behind each result, and arrange a demonstration for your own application.

Can the Rodie X12 be used outdoors?

Yes. The sealed IP65 housing is built for outdoor productions and semi-permanent rental runs. Install the fixtures for a festival, a season of shows, or an outdoor event, then take them down when the run ends.

Make all power and data connections in dry conditions. The Rodie X12 is a production and rental fixture. It is not designed for permanent architectural installation.

Why does passive cooling matter?

The Rodie X12 has no fans. Its die-cast aluminum housing manages heat on its own. There are no fans to clog with haze or dust, and no fan parts to service. It is rated for operation in ambient temperatures up to 113°F / 40°C.

How does the Rodie X12 rig and connect?

A fixture's color engine is only part of the job. The rest is how it hangs, connects, and runs in your system.

  • Rigging: two quarter-turn omega slots with 108 mm spacing, an M10 clamp hole in the yoke arm, and a rear safety cable loop. An omega bracket is in the box.

  • Power: locking IP65 Power, Input and Through. 110 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, auto-ranging.

  • Data: 5-pin XLR DMX and RDM, Input and Through.

  • Onboard: four-button OLED menu with a 180° reversible display, readable upright or hung.

  • More control: NFC/app and timer functionality.

Always follow standard rigging practice and use a rated safety cable when the fixture hangs above people. Request the control guide for supported functions and setup.
